As part of the North West PEACE III Showcase, we are proud to present this on-line exhibition, to share and celebrate the wide range of diverse programmes and projects that have been delivered by our project partners, tendered programmes or through the small grants programme throughout the North West PEACE III Cluster of Derry City Council, Omagh District Council and Strabane District Council.

The North West Phase II Action Plan was developed in September 2010 under the auspices of the NW PEACE III Partnership covering the period 2011-2013 and £4.63m was awarded to the Cluster by SEUPB towards its implementation. The plan built on lessons learned during Phase I as well as embracing new challenges for Phase I

The funding has supported 34 interventions to date, with over 5,600 people so far engaging with the NW PEACE III Cluster’s programme of activity in a range of innovative, creative, and sometimes challenging and thought-provoking programmes of activity.

There are three strategic priorities which were developed with the overall aim of challenging attitudes towards sectarianism and racism and support conflict resolution and mediation at the local community level they are Your Space or Mine, Peace on the AGEnda and Crossing Paths.

This online exhibition represents only a selection of our diverse programmes and projects which showcase some of the initiatives, which are building the capacity and potential of communities at grass roots levels, promoting shared spaces, supporting our young people and building links with wider generations.
